Index to Physicians and Surgeons

The three first doctors are not in the rate books, but are found in the Parish register, and are the only ones that one can trace between 1559 and 1700.

1709. Dr Spratt. There is nothing in the text to prove that this is a physician or surgeon. On p. 57 (1716-1729 Vol.) we have a Mr Spratt who seems to be an attorney.
